Biography on Ernest Hemingway

Early in 1918 Ernest Hemingway joined the italian red cross and served as an ambulance driver in Italy during world world war I, in which the Italians allied with the british, french, and americans against germany and Austria- hungary. while serving in the war hemingway had two life changing experiences take place that would later inspire and cause him the write a novel "A farewell to arms" that would soon become a somewhat Autobiography of his life but not in full detail.

The first life changing experience that occured in Hemingways life occured on july 8, 1918 when a trench motor shell struck while he was crouched down trying to dodge bullets and bombs while recovering from his wounds of getting blasted met at a women at teh ed cross hospital whom he fell in love with. many people have doubt that that his relationship with her informed them of the relationship between lieutenant henry and catherine barkley in a "farewell to arms". hemingway and his wife Agnes von Kurowsky didnt have a very good relationship because of the fact that he wasn't faithful to his one spouse.

Hemingway lived a private and whoreish life. in september 1921, he married his first of four wives whom he had as he traveled from place to place seeing he world and partying, drinking and meeting new women and people.

Hemingway spent several years as a reporter during which time he developed a clear, concise, and emotionally evocative writing style that generations of authors would soon take after hemingways death. hemingway made valuable connections with American expatriate writers that has helped him develope a reputation of writing ome of the best novels of all time.
