Mentor log #1

March 24, 2008

2:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

On Monday march the 24th I met with my mentor Sam who is a art student at the university of Georgia . While meeting with him we went over my senior project research project together to make sure that it was mistake free and didn’t have any errors. I made a lot of changes to my rough draft to make it into my final paper. Am has really helped me in finding information to better help me understand what art really is what I need to really know about the topic I’m studying in the form of cubism and optical art. My mentor sam explained to me what exactly how the shades of light and dark colors form to make an image of 3-d in the form of optical art. I really enjoyed my time with my mentor learning more about my topic and what I want to do as a product for my senior project.
While figuring out what I wanted to do for my product, my mentor had me drawing object that we could possibly draw and make into my product. I don’t know exactly what I want to do just yet for my product but my mentor is helping me to decide and hopefully I will get something started
